To ensure the tournament rankings are determined with precision and fairness, the following regulations are applied. These rules act as a step-by-step "filter" to break any ties between teams.

I. Standard Point Allocation

Points are awarded based on the outcome of each individual group match:

• Win: 3 points
• Draw: 1 point
• Loss: 0 points

II. Tie-Breaking Criteria in Groups Stage (Equality of Points)

If two or more teams finish the groups stage with the same number of points, their final rank is decided by looking at the matches played between the tied teams only. The following steps are applied in order:

1. Head-to-Head Points: Higher number of points obtained in matches among the tied teams.
2. Head-to-Head Goal Difference: The margin between goals scored and goals conceded in matches among the tied teams.
3. Head-to-Head Goals Scored: Total goals scored in matches among the tied teams.

If teams are still equal after checking these three steps, the "Head-to-Head" process is repeated strictly for the remaining tied teams. If a tie persists, the following Overall Group Criteria are applied:

4. Overall Goal Difference: Total goals scored minus total goals conceded in all group matches.
5. Overall Goals Scored: Total goals scored in all group matches.
6. Overall Wins: The team with the highest number of victories in all group matches.
7. Fair Play: Lower disciplinary points total based only on yellow and red cards received in all group matches.

III. Ranking Third-Placed Teams

In tournaments where the best third-placed teams advance, they are compared against one another using the following hierarchy:

3. Goals Scored: Total goals scored across all group matches.
4. Wins: Total number of wins achieved during the group stage.

IV. Tie-Breaking Criteria in League Phase

If two or more teams complete the League phase with the same number of points, their final ranking is determined by examining all matches played during this phase. The following criteria are applied sequentially until the tie is broken:

1. Overall Goal Difference: Total goals scored minus total goals conceded in all group matches.
2. Overall Goals Scored: Total goals scored in all group matches.
